The position will review and complete financial aspects related to inventory and manufacturing operations for both commercial and clinical programs, including cost accounting. Responsible for tracking projects/manufacturing activities, inventory analysis, standard costing, and account reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly journal entries with supporting documentation
- Collaborate with business partners on project tracking, manufacturing updates, PO creation, AP, receiving, shipping, etc.
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
- Support audit requests and quarterly reviews; interact with auditors
- Work with Supply Chain to analyze/reconcile inventory CMO reports
- Prepare monthly inventory reports (roll-forward, reconciliations, work order variances)
- Analyze purchase price and manufacturing variances
- Coordinate with Technical Accounting on contract understanding/accounting treatment
- Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts
- Monitor inventory movement/transactions (work order completions, material receipts, COGS)
- Assist with development of standard costs
- Support SOX compliance and maintain control documentation
- Continuously improve processes for efficiency/accuracy
Qualifications & Skills:
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
- 3+ years accounting experience (publicly traded; life science/pharma preferred)
- Strong manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accounting knowledge
- Oracle ERP knowledge (Oracle Fusion preferred)
- U.S. GAAP understanding for manufacturing environment (required)
- Advanced analytical skills; Excel-based modeling
- Excellent organization/project management; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills; teamwork and partner/vendor collaboration
Work setup & pay/apply:
- Hybrid; on-site at U.S. facilities and occasional in-person events
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Targeted salary range: $94,800β$118,500/year
