Responsibilities involve evaluating molecular evidence for target nomination, developing and piloting innovative computational methods, defining data criteria, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams including biologists, chemists, and data engineers to advance drug discovery programs. The role requires presenting findings to stakeholders to support decision-making and program progression. Qualifications include a PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, or related fields with 3+ years biotech/pharma experience in early drug discovery, with domain expertise in immunology and target identification. Skills needed encompass advanced computational techniques, data visualization, and effective communication. Preferred experience covers building target discovery engines, designing high-throughput validation screens, and progression from proof of concept to IND. The position is hybrid, based in Salt Lake City, UT or New York, NY, with at least 50% onsite work.
