Role Summary

Senior Compliance Officer, Global Policies, Education, and Investigations (Remote) who will develop and oversee global compliance and privacy policies, training programs, and lead the investigations team within the Ethics, Compliance and Privacy department. Works with HR and Legal, advises senior leadership, manages external counsel, and conducts sensitive investigations across global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enhance a global compliance and privacy policy framework, and draft policies and standard operating procedures with stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and enhance the global training matrix for compliance and privacy, creating training modules and education/communication materials.
  • Lead the global compliance investigations team, regularly conducting, managing, and reporting on investigations.
  • Review and update compliance/privacy policies and the Jazz Code of Ethics to address key risk areas and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and support compliance and privacy communications and promotional activities across the organization (e.g., Compliance and Ethics Week, Privacy Week).
  • Create training modules and tools to train Jazz employees, including senior executives and board members, on key laws, regulations, policies, and SOPs.
  • Chair the Investigations Oversight Committee and coordinate with stakeholders (Legal, HR, other functions) to ensure consistent investigation processes and reporting.
  • Coordinate with Ethics, Compliance, and Privacy lead team to drive consistency across the company.
  • Stay informed on new laws/regulations and reflect developments in policies, education, training, and investigation approaches.
  • Assist Compliance Department colleagues with cross-functional projects to achieve corporate objectives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant pharmaceutical compliance and/or privacy experience in-house
  • Minimum of 8+ years conducting investigations involving healthcare fraud/abuse and/or bribery and corruption matters in a corporate setting
  • Law degree preferred, though not required
  • Strong policy design and drafting skills; experience drafting policies for a multinational pharmaceutical organization preferred
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing compliance/privacy training; adult learning expertise preferred
  • Solid judgment, business acumen, and understanding of multinational pharmaceutical operations
  • Understanding of US and international laws governing pharmaceutical/healthcare industries
  • Experience working across functions and geographies with a customer-service orientation
  • Experience providing strategic guidance to global senior executives
  • Excellent communication skills, collaborative, able to handle heavy workload
  • Ability to work accurately with urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability across cultures
  • Effective management skills with ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment
