Senior Compliance Officer, Global Commercial (Remote)

Role Summary

Senior Compliance Officer, Global Commercial (Remote) – Senior member of the Ethics, Compliance, and Privacy department responsible for identifying, mitigating, and managing compliance and privacy risks across Jazz’s global commercial organization. Leads a team of compliance professionals, partnering with global senior leaders to provide expert compliance guidance and drive short and long-term corporate strategy.

Responsibilities

• Serves as trusted strategic business partner and risk advisor to global senior leaders in Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, and other functions across countries and therapeutic areas; regularly updates on compliance risk areas, mitigation strategies, and dashboards demonstrating program effectiveness.
• Provides expert strategic compliance advice to global Commercial leaders, including identifying, mitigating, and managing fraud, abuse, and kickback risks in engagements with healthcare providers and/or patients.
• Coordinates with Senior Compliance Officer, Global Policies, Education, and Investigations to develop global compliance and ethics policies and training materials for the global Commercial team.
• Regularly conducts compliance training.
• Supports and attends global Commercial meetings and events (sales meetings, advisory boards, customer engagement events) to provide compliance support and guidance or conduct live monitoring as needed.
• Sets clear standards for compliance support and risk tolerance; provides direction to a team of compliance officers.
• Collaborates with Senior Compliance Officer, Monitoring, Auditing, and Third-Party Risk Management to design and implement an effective monitoring and audit program, focusing on higher-risk engagements with patients, patient advocacy groups, and healthcare providers.
• Member of the Ethics and Compliance lead team; drives consistency in compliance and ethics across the company.
• Stays informed on new laws and industry trends; ensures new developments are reflected in compliance controls for the global Commercial organization.
• Coordinates with the Legal department supporting the global Commercial organization.
• Assists Ethics and Compliance colleagues with cross-functional projects and activities to achieve corporate objectives and balance workloads.

Qualifications

• 10‚Äì12 years of relevant compliance experience, including at least 5 years supporting global commercial organizations in pharmaceutical/biotech.
• Law degree preferred, but not required.
• Strong judgment and business acumen; ability to assess compliance risks and mitigation strategies within commercial contexts.
• Extensive experience advising senior global Commercial leaders.
• Solid understanding of laws and regulations governing the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry with global operations experience.
• Experience working across functions and geographies with high responsiveness and customer service orientation.
• Excellent oral and written communication; self-motivated, efficient, able to manage heavy workload and work independently with initiative.
• Ability to work accurately with urgency in a fast-paced environment; strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to diverse cultures.
• 20‚Äì30% travel required.
