The Position:
- Plan, develop, and implement site-specific internal communication strategy and tactics to support business success.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior-level leadership.
- Coordinate with Public Affairs & Communications on external communications as warranted; advise and collaborate with regional and global colleagues.
- Develop and execute communication programs; coach and develop senior executives to support communications and change management.
- Manage complex campaigns, meetings, events, tours, and visitors.

Essential Functions:
- Partner with senior-level management to develop and implement communication plans (strategy, change management, culture, employee engagement).
- Clarify site business strategy, build buy-in, and engage employees at all levels.
- Act as contact for corporate initiatives to raise awareness of business initiatives.
- Develop internal communication strategy aligned with corporate priorities.
- Coach and develop senior leaders; bridge communication gaps between senior leadership and the shop floor (e.g., All Hands, Leaders Forums).
- Ensure synergy with external communications/public affairs campaigns (e.g., ceremonies, milestones, crisis/issues management, community relations, employer branding).
- Lead communication channel strategy (SharePoint, digital news/signage, digital workplace apps) and support execution with best practices.
- Plan and execute processes/materials/meetings with detail for senior professionals; lead meeting execution with IT, facilities, and admin.
- Manage team budgets; follow procurement/sourcing policies to maximize ROI.
- Supervise external contractors/agencies as needed.
- Prepare executive communications for lateral and elevated audiences.
- Create/review/approve communication drafts and plans for sensitive/urgent/nuanced messages.
- Drive/support cross-organizational projects and develop an editorial calendar for business-relevant news.
- Ensure brand consistency and manage internal approvals.
- Ensure compliance to local Visitor Policy and follow all safety/environmental requirements.
- Other accountabilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in Organizational Communications/Public Relations/Organizational Development (or related) and 7+ years strategic planning and organizational communications/change management experience (required).
- Masterโ€™s degree (preferred).
- Proven ability to create/guide compelling internal and external communications; strong initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities and multiple stakeholders; support multi-shift manufacturing/pharma environments.
- Advanced MS PowerPoint (required); proficient MS SharePoint and other Microsoft apps (required).
- Strong understanding/utilization of latest communication tools/technologies; examples of managing/creating compelling content (required).
- Strong knowledge of business/communication challenges.
- Demonstrated coaching and meeting facilitation excellence.
- Exceptional writing and content development; strong verbal/public speaking.
- Outstanding organization/planning; project/time management.
- Photography and video editing/production skills (preferred).
- Self-motivated; leverages emerging technologies (incl. AI-enabled tools) to enhance comms strategy/content/workflow while adhering to policies/ethics (required).
- Proven ability to meet deadlines (required).
