Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific leadership for assigned clinical trial(s) from study planning through analysis and reporting.
- Develop/assist with clinical protocols and amendments, informed consent forms, case report forms, data review plans, and related documents.
- Partner with Clinical Directors and cross-functional teams to align objectives, endpoints, and assessments to the development strategy.
- Maintain expertise in evolving scientific literature, guidelines, competitive developments, and emerging therapies.
- Lead review/interpretation of clinical data for patient safety, protocol adherence, data quality, and conduct.
- Collaborate to evaluate safety signals, protocol deviations, patient profiles, lab findings, and efficacy outcomes.
- Analyze and interpret efficacy/safety/biomarker/PRO data; generate insights supporting study deliverables and development decisions.
- Contribute to study reports, regulatory documents, publications, presentations, and governance materials.
- Provide scientific guidance and mentor junior clinical scientists; communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred/Rheumatology Expectations:
- Advanced degree and experience in Rheumatology/Immunology/Autoimmune/Inflammatory disease clinical development.
Required Qualifications:
- BS with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years (or equivalent) in pharma/biotech/clinical research/drug development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PharmD/PhD/MD/DO/PA/ANRP; Rheumatology clinical development experience; protocol development and medical review; cross-functional drug development team experience.
Required Skills:
- Clinical data/research, clinical study design, clinical trials, ICH-GCP, ethical standards, medical monitoring, regulatory compliance, risk management.
