Senior Clinical Research Associate

Role: Clinical Site Manager supporting a trial for a gene therapy targeting retinitis pigmentosa, focusing on site oversight, data integrity, and participant safety. Responsibilities: perform site management, monitor compliance with GCP and SOPs, conduct source data verification, oversee trial documentation, manage vendor activities, prepare study metrics, and track issues and risks. Qualifications: Bachelor's in a relevant scientific discipline; 4+ years in clinical research within pharma or biotech; knowledge of FDA and ICH/GCP guidelines; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred: experience in ophthalmology, gene or cell therapies, or complex biologics. High-Value: ocular gene therapy, clinical trial management, GCP compliance, vendor oversight, hybrid work environment (Berkeley HQ), up to 35% travel, salary range $125K-$140K plus bonus.
