Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct clinical research activities in Oncology (Hematology), managing studies across the clinical development cycle (design, initiation, execution, monitoring, analysis, regulatory reporting, publication).
- Evaluate pre-clinical/translational work for early clinical development plans and Investigational New Drug (IND) applications.
- Develop clinical development strategies for investigational/marketed Hematology drugs.
- Plan clinical trials based on strategy; provide medical oversight and overall conduct of trials.
- Analyze and summarize clinical findings to support safety/efficacy decisions, regulatory submissions, clinical study reports, and publications.
- Participate in internal and joint internal/external research teams; support business development assessments.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D.
- Industry or senior faculty academia experience.
- Minimum 3 years clinical medicine experience.
- Minimum 3 years industry drug development or biomedical research (academia).
- Demonstrated success overseeing clinical studies/protocols; strong scientific scholarship.
- Proven track record in clinical medicine and biomedical research; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Outstanding verbal/written communication and presentation.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Board Certified/Eligible in Oncology, Hematology, or related discipline.
- Prior clinical research experience and prior publication.

Travel/Work:
- Travel ~20% of the time.
- Hybrid.
