Role Summary
Senior Cell Therapy Account Manager (Upstate NY) responsible for accelerating adoption and appropriate use of Arcellx cell therapy products across leading academic hospitals and community networks. As the account lead, the role drives strategic account management—creating and executing action plans that expand therapy access, elevate treatment center performance, and deliver an exceptional experience for patients and providers. This role supports advancing Arcellx’s mission in treating multiple myeloma.
Responsibilities
- Drive multiple myeloma CAR-T brand choice within authorized treatment centers and community-based accounts.
- Competitively sell Arcellx products through deep knowledge of the multiple myeloma landscape and clinical expertise.
- Navigate complex account environments by identifying stakeholder needs and collaborating with internal teams to provide targeted support.
- Integrate customer insights and data to design and execute strategic account plans; analyze market trends to identify opportunities and barriers to treatment.
- Share account and HCP insights with cross-functional and alliance partners to highlight business trends and changes in the therapeutic landscape; support partners to ensure positive patient experience.
- Provide CAR-T process training to ATC staff to remove barriers to use and optimize workflows.
- Operate in compliance with all laws, regulations, policies, and ethical standards, including protection of patient-identifiable data.
Qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of hematology/oncology therapeutic experience required.
- Experience in cell therapy, immunotherapy, and/or multiple myeloma strongly preferred, with understanding of oncology market dynamics.
- Proven history of meeting/exceeding sales objectives in complex, high-value therapeutic areas.
- Ability to manage large strategic accounts and navigate complex academic hospital systems with cross-functional and co-marketing partners.
- Experience with new product launches in academic hospitals or specialty markets strongly preferred.
Education
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree required.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 50%.
