Role Summary

The Senior Cell Therapy Account Manager (LA South) drives adoption and appropriate use of Arcellx cell therapy products across leading academic hospitals and community networks. As the account lead, the Sr. CTAM develops and executes strategic account plans to expand therapy access, elevate treatment center performance, and deliver an exceptional patient and provider experience, contributing to Arcellx’s mission in multiple myeloma.

Responsibilities

  • Drive multiple myeloma CAR-T brand choice within authorized treatment centers (ATCs) and community-based accounts.
  • Competitively sell Arcellx products through deep knowledge of the multiple myeloma landscape and clinical expertise.
  • Navigate complex account environments by identifying stakeholder needs, collaborating with internal teams to provide targeted support.
  • Integrate customer insights and analytics to design and execute strategic account plans; understand customer dynamics and market trends to identify opportunities and barriers to treatment.
  • Share account and HCP insights with cross-functional and alliance partners; support partners to ensure a positive and seamless patient experience.
  • Equip ATC staff with CAR-T process training to remove barriers and optimize operational workflows.
  • Operate in compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and ethical standards, including protection of patient-identifiable data.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of hematology/oncology therapeutic experience required.
  • Experience in cell therapy, immunotherapy, and/or multiple myeloma strongly preferred, with understanding of oncology market dynamics.
  • Proven history of meeting/exceeding sales objectives in complex, high-value therapeutic areas.
  • Ability to manage large, strategic accounts and navigate complex academic hospital systems with cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with new product launches within academic hospitals or specialty markets strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 50%.

Education

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree required.

  • Travel requirements as part of role: up to 50% overnight.
  • Location coverage: Los Angeles South area (including Long Beach, Laguna Beach, Apple Valley, Irvine, Costa Mesa, Burbank).
