Senior Buyer

Role: Senior Purchasing Analyst supporting Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals' finance team, focusing on procurement of goods and services to facilitate scientific and operational activities. Responsibilities: partner with departments to identify needs, process purchase requests and orders, manage urgent procurement, resolve delivery issues, optimize vendor performance, and support process improvements through technology. Requirements: Bachelor’s in finance or life sciences; 4+ years in finance, procurement, or buying; highly organized, self-motivated, with strong communication skills; experienced with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Preferred: 2 years’ biotech purchasing experience. High-Value: supporting a biopharma company with a focus on RNAi therapeutics, across therapeutic areas including liver and lung indications, in a fast-growth, research-driven environment. Work setup: full-time onsite in Verona, WI or San Diego, CA.
