Senior Business Analyst, Discovery IT

Role: Discovery IT Business Partner supporting Wave's biopharma discovery research in Cambridge and Lexington, MA. Objectives: drive innovative technology solutions, expand informatics capabilities, and ensure operational excellence within discovery science. Responsibilities: serve as IT partner for Biology, Data Sciences, Lab Systems, and Chemistry; manage lifecycle of key lab informatics tools (e.g., Dotmatics, CLIMB, Lab Voice); lead discovery technology projects including lab automation, data lakes, and SDMS; facilitate change management and training for new systems; oversee support activities and vendor coordination; develop data strategies for research workflows and FAIR data principles; contribute to cross-functional initiatives focusing on scientific workflow digitization and data leverage. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Information Management/Technology or Computer Science required; graduate degrees or Science backgrounds preferred; 7+ years in biotech/pharma, with 5+ years as an R&D IT analyst or product lead; deep experience with discovery systems, GxP, and validation frameworks (Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP). Skills: agile environment adaptability, cloud/AWS knowledge, and discovery informatics expertise.
