Senior Business Analyst, Discovery IT

Role: Discovery IT Business Partner supporting Wave Life Sciences' R&D operations, focusing on advancing informatics capabilities and technology solutions within discovery research. Responsibilities: serve as product owner for key lab informatics systems (e.g., Dotmatics, CLIMB), lead technology projects including lab automation and data lakes, manage system upgrades and change management, facilitate user training and adoption, oversee support activities, and drive data-driven culture initiatives. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across Biology, Data Sciences, Medicinal Chemistry, and other discovery functions; partner with vendors and internal stakeholders on technology roadmaps and compliance. Requirements: undergraduate degree in Information Management/Technology or Computer Science; 7+ years in biotech/pharma, with 5+ years as an IT business analyst or R&D product specialist; experience with discovery lab systems, project leadership, and regulatory frameworks such as FDA, EMA, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP. Preferred: graduate or science degrees, experience with cloud platforms like AWS, analytics, and pipelining tools; knowledge of GxP, validation, and automation technologies.
