Position Summary:
Senior Biostatistician providing statistical support for HEOR, Real World Evidence (RWE), and Market Access in support of drug development and commercialization. Contribute to study design, statistical analysis, reporting, and interpretation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide statistical support to clinical studies/projects under Biostatistics leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting HEOR/RWE/Market Access.
- Plan and execute analyses of clinical trial data, claims, electronic medical records, registries, and other epidemiological sources.
- Identify statistical issues and propose solutions.
- Provide statistical input to study reports, value/reimbursement dossiers, publications, and data requests; perform modeling/analyses as needed.
- Prepare/review analysis plans, CRFs, database specs, validation plans, TFL shells, analysis dataset specs, and documentation.
- Review work from colleagues/vendors/third parties; escalate issues.
- Support timely, high-quality deliverables; contribute to SOPs/technical standards.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s in Statistics/Biostatistics, CS, Math, Epidemiology, Health Economics or related (Master’s preferred).
- 4+ years biopharmaceutical/healthcare system experience.
- Strong HEOR/RWE/Market Access statistical principles and best practices.
- Hands-on SDTM/ADaM and/or claims/EMR/registry data; experience with power/sample size, longitudinal, survival, cost-effectiveness, modeling, simulation.
- Proficiency in R or SAS.
Additional:
- Ability to collaborate, communicate to non-statisticians, manage competing timelines; travel ~10%; onsite/face-to-face in San Diego required (not 100% remote).
