Position Summary:
The Senior Biostatistician will provide statistical support to Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Real World Evidence (RWE), and Market Access activities in support of drug development and commercialization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide statistical support to clinical studies/projects under senior Biostatistics leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for HEOR, RWE, and Market Access.
- Plan and execute analyses of clinical trial data, claims databases, electronic medical records, disease registries, and other epidemiological sources.
- Identify statistical issues and propose solutions with study/project teams.
- Provide statistical input to study reports, value/reimbursement dossiers, publications, and other data requests; perform modeling/analyses.
- Prepare/review analysis plans, CRFs, database specifications, validation plans, TFL shells, analysis dataset specifications, and supporting documentation for observational studies/clinical trials.
- Review analytical work from colleagues, external collaborators, or vendors and escalate issues.
- Support timely, high-quality deliverables; contribute to Biometrics SOPs/technical standards.
- Apply statistical methodologies to generate actionable insights.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelorβs in Statistics/Biostatistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or related field (Masterβs preferred).
- 4+ years relevant experience in biopharma or healthcare system.
- Strong HEOR/RWE/Market Access statistical principles; hands-on SDTM/ADaM and/or claims/EMR/registry data.
- Experience with study design, power/sample size, longitudinal/survival analysis, cost-effectiveness, modeling, simulation.
- Proficiency in R or SAS.
Additional Skills/Experience:
- Ability to collaborate (including with vendors/CROs); understanding of drug development process; rare disease/orphan disease a plus.
- Manage multiple timelines; communicate/statistical concepts to non-statisticians.
- Detail-oriented, solution-driven.
- Travel ~10% domestically/internationally; role not 100% remote.
