Senior Biologist - Protein Engineering

Role: Associate scientist in Protein Engineering within Lilly's BioTDR division, focusing on antibody discovery and optimization for biotherapeutics. Responsibilities: design and perform experiments to identify next-generation large molecule therapeutics; contribute to developing and enhancing molecular biology, screening, and characterization platforms; collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet research goals; maintain detailed records and data. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related STEM field; minimum of 3 years lab experience in protein engineering; hands-on skills in molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, mutagenesis), antibody engineering, and protein biochemistry; proficiency in ELISA, binding assays, and familiarity with automation tools and data analysis software. Preferred: experience with biophysical binding assays (BLI/SPR), structural knowledge, and cell-based assays.
