Role: Bioassay scientist supporting Lilly's biotherapeutics portfolio, focusing on assay development and optimization for biologics, peptides, gene and cell therapies. Responsibilities: develop, transfer, and qualify potency assays (binding, cell-based), support regulatory submissions, perform experiments, analyze data, author technical documentation, and maintain lab operations including cell culture and reagent management. Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytical Development, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams. Qualifications: MS in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or related with 0-2 years (MS) or BS with 2-3 years pharma/biotech experience; hands-on expertise in potency assays (ELISA, SPR, luciferase), mammalian cell culture, engineered cell lines, and molecular biology techniques. Preferred: experience with genome editing (CRISPR), GMP systems, FDA/EMA regulations, and bioassay software (SoftMax Pro, JMP).
