Role: Senior Automation Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automation equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Objectives include ensuring equipment reliability, optimizing automation processes for cost efficiency, and supporting production operations. Responsibilities: install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and commission control and mechanical systems (e.g., mixers, coating, packaging, lab equipment, facility systems); maintain documentation, repair records, and software; manage spare parts inventory; support on-call troubleshooting; develop and verify engineering drawings and P&ID; and improve automation workflows. Requirements: High School/GED; technical training in Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or related field; 7+ years relevant industrial experience, or 5+ years with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or Robotics. Preferred: experience in pharma or regulated manufacturing environments, familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and GxP compliance.
