Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software/hardware improvements to automated equipment and new equipment per change control procedures.
- Troubleshoot and investigate manufacturing deviations and anomalies related to automated control systems.
- Develop/edit engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans for cGMP process equipment following GAMP 5 guidelines.
- Support small manufacturing, engineering, and validation projects.
- Support process control and process monitoring equipment software design, commissioning, testing, and corrective action.
- Author/update system specifications and user/functional requirements; create and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) protocols.
- Review cybersecurity vulnerabilities and risks for automation systems, software, and infrastructure.
- Create, modify, and maintain automation system documentation.

Role may fit if you have:
- OT experience (SCADA, HMIs, historians, etc.).
- Experience standing up large enterprise-level systems.
- Knowledge of ISE S95 and S88 principles plus IT/automation integration.
- Familiarity with PLC communication, HMI/computerized system design, and maintenance of automation process control infrastructure.
- Ability to balance changing priorities and make/communicate timely decisions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Senior Engineer: 5+ years relevant experience; Principal Engineer: 8+ years.
