Senior Automation Infrastructure Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. Our team delivers and maintains automation-based systems and solutions which provide for flexible, innovative, cost effective, and quality-focused manufacturing of our life-changing medications.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and maintaining the following automation systems:
  • Supervisory Control and data acquisition systems
  • Site Historian Systems
  • Advanced Analytical applications
  • Asset management systems
  • Thin Client Server systems
  • Windows and Linux Server Operating systems
  • Process Area Networks
  • SQL Databases
  • Virtualization environments
• Supporting the validation of automation systems with QA Validation.
• Providing coordination of infrastructure projects between automation, systems, facilities, IT, and QA
• Providing automation technical knowledge for troubleshooting, investigations and training.
• Providing automation system application support including installation and rebuilds.
• Providing system design for data integrity, stability and interface between different systems.
• Ensuring effective maintenance and availability of automation equipment.
• Leading the technical optimization and compliance of automation systems.
• Creating, modifying, and maintaining automation system documentation and SOPs in a compliant state.
• Working with plant automation technicians and engineers.

Qualifications

• Networking experience, specifically with Cisco switches and firewalls
• Experience with the setup and management of high security environments
• Experience in the design, configuration, programming, and qualification of OT infrastructure and applications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Experience with cGMP and validation pertaining to biopharmaceutical production operations and computerized systems is highly desirable
• Senior Engineer: 5+ years
• Principal Engineer: 8+ years

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
