Senior Automation Engineer

Discover Your Role:
- Provide advanced technical automation support and troubleshooting to Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Facilities per SOPs.
- Lead and perform investigations of manufacturing deviations/anomalies tied to automation systems and control system software.
- Develop/edit engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans for cGMP process equipment; follow GAMP 5.
- Lead engineering and validation projects; support manufacturing with software design, commissioning, protocol review, and testing.
- Update/author system specifications, user requirements, functional requirements, and system design specifications.
- Generate and execute testing and qualification protocols for automated process and monitoring equipment.
- Lead small-to-medium manufacturing process control projects for corrective action, equipment performance improvements, and new equipment.
- Design, develop, and implement software/hardware improvements via change control.
- Develop and execute test plans for software/hardware improvements.
- Participate in the rotation for automation support.

This Role Requires:
- BS in Engineering (or related) and 5+ years relevant experience; equivalent education/experience considered.
- Experience designing and maintaining process control and/or data acquisition systems.
- Some regulated manufacturing environment experience preferred.
- Rockwell Automation control systems knowledge ideal.
- Strong understanding of change control, investigations, and corrective actions.
