Role: Senior Associate Scientist supporting preclinical and early clinical development of mRNA and protein-based viral vaccines at Pfizer. Responsibilities: perform and develop immunoassays (e.g., ELISAs, neutralization, Luminex) to monitor immune responses, generate and characterize reagents for bio-functional studies, assist in assay development, analyze data, and stay current with scientific literature. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related, 3-5 years lab experience or Master's with 0-3 years, proficiency in cell-based assays, assay design, data analysis software, and effective communication skills. Preferred: experience in vaccine research, handling respiratory viruses, working with cell lines, and automated liquid handling platforms. High-value: involvement in viral vaccine programs, BSL-2 environment, focus on immunogenicity assays, and supporting preclinical vaccine development. Work setup: on-premise in a laboratory environment; physical requirements include working with infectious agents and robotic equipment.
