What You Will Achieve
- Perform analytical method development and sample testing (under manager supervision) in support of vaccine process development, formulation development, release, stability, and characterization.
- Apply separation-based techniques, including HPLC (SEC, IEX, RP) and CE.
- Utilize LC-MS–based methods to characterize vaccine antigens and related analytes.
- Execute method verification, qualification, and optimization studies.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data; summarize results and conclusions for the manager.
- Document work contemporaneously in electronic laboratory notebooks in compliance with internal standards.
- Author/review analytical methods, protocols, technical notes, and method qualification reports with appropriate guidance.
- Support general lab activities (instrument maintenance, reagent management, housekeeping) and continuously improve safe, effective laboratory practices.
- Comply with applicable data integrity expectations.
Qualifications
Must Have
- BS with 3–5 years relevant experience, or MS with 0–3 years in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with chromatographic or electrophoretic separations.
- Strong data analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based laboratory environment.
Nice to Have
- LC-MS experience supporting proteins and/or mRNAs.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support problem solving/productivity.
- Experience with liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS).
Work Location Assignment: On Premise
Compensation/Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $68,600–$114,300; bonus target 7.5% (Global Performance Plan).
