Role Summary
Senior Associate Scientist to join the Immunoscreening group in the Therapeutic Antibody team, contributing to identification of potential therapeutic antibodies and the in vitro characterization and selection of lead molecules in early antibody drug discovery.
Responsibilities
- Designing and optimizing in-vitro protein or cell-based immunoassays, including flow cytometry, high content imaging, ELISA, AlphaLISA, and MSD, to assess functional properties of antibody therapeutics with a focus on immuno-oncology
- Performing medium to high throughput immunoassays according to established protocols
- Compiling and analyzing data by Excel, FlowJo, GraphPad Prism and graphic software
- Maintaining mammalian cell cultures for cell-based immunoassays
- Maintaining accurate records of experimental procedures and results
Qualifications
- Required: BS/MS degree in cell/molecular biology, immunology, protein biology, or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of cell and molecular biology, immunology or protein biology; skills in aseptic techniques and human and mouse cell culturing; hands-on bench research/development experience in in-vitro protein or cell-based assays; high throughput screening experience and familiarity with liquid handlers
