Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute syntheses of novel chemical modifications and delivery modalities for siRNA
- Perform multi-step synthesis, purification, and structural analysis of intermediate compounds
- Synthesize organic building blocks for RNA delivery
- Coordinate project plans and activities with internal RNAi platform teams and external collaborators for siRNA delivery and activity determination
- Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on lab instrumentation (e.g., NMR, HPLC, LCMS, and other instruments)
- Analyze and organize data to prepare experimental reports and communicate results at internal meetings

Qualifications:
- B.S./M.S. in Chemistry and 2–3 years of industrial experience in Medicinal Chemistry
- Demonstrated ability to understand reaction mechanisms and chemical reactivity in Organic Chemistry (required)
- Strong laboratory skills in synthesis, purification, and characterization of small molecules
- Expertise in analytical techniques (LC, MS, NMR) and ability to analyze, interpret, and present data (prerequisite)
- Flexible, able to apply knowledge to new areas, work in a team environment, and communicate effectively (written and oral)

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- U.S. Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 (base salary)
- Eligible for annual short-term incentive award (bonus/sales incentive) and annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity)
