Role: Senior Associate Scientist in Investigative Sciences within Alnylam's Early Development Department, focusing on RNAi mechanistic studies. Responsibilities: conduct in vitro and in vivo research evaluating siRNA compounds, including cell culture, transfection, and biochemical assays; develop and troubleshoot cell-based assays; analyze complex datasets; present findings to cross-functional teams to influence drug design. Requirements: BS/MS in Biology, Cell/Molecular Biology, Biochemistry with 3-5 years of relevant industrial experience; proficiency in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques (qPCR, Western blot, ELISA), and fluorescence microscopy; strong independent work ethic, communication, and record-keeping skills. Preferred: experience in oligonucleotide research and in vivo studies.
