Position Summary
- Senior Associate Scientist in In Vivo Discovery Oncology (Cambridge, MA). Aid advancement of early-stage oncology therapeutics in TRC, working on immuno-oncology programs (including T cell engager platforms).
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct mouse in vivo pharmacology experiments: model development, tumor implantation, dosing via IV/IP/SC/IT/IM/PO, tumor measurements, health monitoring, necropsy tissue collection (fixing/freezing/disaggregation), and tissue sampling (tail micro-sampling, cardiac puncture).
- Collaborate on in vivo efficacy and PK/PD studies to support new pharmacology model development.
- Independently execute end-to-end flow cytometry workflows: panel design/establishment, multiparametric profiling (blood/tumor/lymphoid), data analysis, and communicate results.
- Isolate PBMCs and primary T cells from Leukopaks; functionally characterize via cell-based assays.
- Maintain scientific documentation in an electronic lab notebook; present results to multidisciplinary teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorβs + 4+ years academic/industry experience OR Masterβs + 2+ years.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- In vivo and ex vivo oncology skills; subcutaneous syngeneic/xenograft models required; orthotopic/chemically induced models, GEMMs, PDx preferred.
- Murine dosing IV/IP/SC/PO required; intra-tumor and IM preferred; rodent surgical experience a plus.
- Cell culture/passage/harvesting; prepare adherent & suspension cells for implantation.
- Sample processing for FACS (blood, tumors, spleen, lymph nodes).
- Basic multichannel FACS panels (5β6 color); flow cytometry data analysis and presentation.
- Cytokine profiling (MSD & Luminex); GraphPad Prism, electronic notebooks, Microsoft Office.
- Strong organization/detail orientation and interpersonal skills.
