Role: Senior Associate Scientist I in Isotope Production, supporting radiochemical and analytical activities for Actinium-225 production via cyclotron irradiation of Radium-226. Responsibilities: execute experiments, develop and scale radiochemical separation and purification processes, perform target processing, radionuclide recovery, waste management, and collaborate on process development and process transfer activities. Requirements: BS/MS in Radiochemistry, Chemistry, or related field; 2+ yearsβ experience with radioactive materials; familiarity with alpha-emitting isotopes, cyclotron-produced radioisotopes, and radiochemical techniques such as chromatography and solvent extraction. Preferred: experience with cGMP, process scale-up, and specific isotopes like Thorium or Radium; skills in analytical instrumentation (HPGe spectroscopy, ICP-MS, etc.) and working in hot cell environments. High-Value: involvement in GMP manufacturing support, process development from lab to process scale, with exposure to radiochemical separations. Work setup: Laboratory environment in Indianapolis; minimal travel (<5%).
