Role: Senior Associate Scientist I, Isotope Production, supporting radiochemical and analytical activities for Actinium-225 production at RayzeBio. Responsibilities: execute experiments for isotope synthesis, separation, and process scale-up; perform lab work with radioactive materials following safety protocols; maintain technical documentation; collaborate on equipment setup, automation, and process troubleshooting; assist in process development from bench to GMP scale, including target irradiation, radionuclide recovery, and waste management; support process transfer and vendor interactions. Requirements: BS/MS in Radiochemistry, Chemistry, or related field; 2+ years experience with radioactive materials; familiarity with alpha-emitting isotopes (Actinium-225, Radium-226) and radiochemical techniques such as chromatography and solvent extraction; experience with hot cell operations, GMP processes, and analytical instrumentation (HPGe, ICP-MS, etc.) preferred. High-Value: radiopharmaceutical manufacturing, isotope production (Actinium-225), process development, GMP compliance, radioactive safety, cyclotron target processing. Work Setup: laboratory environment with safety gear; minimal travel (<5%).
