What You Will Achieve
The High-throughput Screening (HTS) team seeks a molecular biology expert to support development and evaluation of vaccine candidates. Apply molecular biology expertise to perform cell-based expression assays and automated screening workflows in a BSL-2 lab.

How You Will Achieve It (Responsibilities)
- Perform RNA synthesis, characterization, and analytical assessments for preclinical evaluation
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot cell-based assays for in vitro expression
- Collaborate with automation experts to develop Hamilton STAR methods compatible with high-throughput screening
- Operate Hamilton STAR liquid handling platforms for automated screening workflows
- Independently collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize experimental data with accuracy and rigor
- Communicate results and progress updates to teams and senior leadership
- Maintain organized inventories of reagents and biological samples
- Ensure high-quality documentation/reporting per SOPs and Laboratory Notebook Policy

Qualifications
Must-Have
- BS/BA in Biology/Cell Biology/Molecular Biology or related field
- 3–5 years relevant experience in academic/biopharmaceutical research OR MS with 0–3 years
- Proficiency in molecular biology: in vitro transcription, RNA analysis, cell-based assays
- Hands-on mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique
- Ability to independently design/execute/analyze experiments and present data
- Strong attention to detail; commitment to data quality and documentation
- Collaborative, fast-paced team orientation; strong written/verbal communication
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, GraphPad Prism

Nice-to-Have
- Hamilton STAR automation experience (execution/development)
- Experience with KingFisher Apex (operate/troubleshoot)
- Molecular cloning and sequencing analysis
- Familiarity with LIMS/GeneData (or similar)

Physical/Mental Requirements
- Primarily lab bench and desk; lift up to 10 lbs; may stand/reach near lab robotic equipment.

Relocation support available.
Work Location Assignment: On Premise.

Benefits/Compensation (if explicitly stated)
- Base salary range: $68,600–$114,300; bonus target 7.5%; eligible for Pfizer Global Performance Plan.
