Role Responsibilities
- Perform upstream data processing, quality assessment, and troubleshooting of sequencing runs, sample metadata, libraries, and genomic datasets.
- Apply computational biology/bioinformatics workflows (incl. AI-enabled tools as appropriate) for QC, biological interpretation, and reproducible reporting.
- Generate and document analytical outputs (QC summaries, exploratory analyses, figures/tables, technical summaries).
- Support experimental design/data needs discussions and contribute to genomic readout interpretation.
- Evaluate/benchmark/qualify new or improved bioinformatic workflows, assays, platforms, and analytical approaches; document results.
- Execute wet-lab component (sample prep, tissue dissociation, cell/nuclei isolation, nucleic acid extraction, library prep/QC, sequencing, data generation).
- Onboard/train others on genomics workflows and documentation best practices.
- Stay current with single-cell genomics, spatial transcriptomics, multiomics, reproducible bioinformatics.
- Draft/maintain analysis and experimental plans, validation reports, work instructions/SOPs; maintain compliant electronic lab notebooks and data integrity.

Qualifications (Required)
- BS with 3+ years relevant experience OR MS with 0+ years.
- 1+ year genomics data analysis/QC/visualization/reproducible workflows (bulk/single-cell or spatial/targeted/immune repertoire/epigenomics).
- Python, R, command-line tools, notebooks, version-controlled workflows.
- Foundational wet-lab experience (molecular biology/sample or library prep/assay execution).

Preferred
- AI-enabled/agentic bioinformatic tools experience.
- Expertise in inflammation/immunology/neuro-inflammation/translational medicine.

Benefits/Comp (as stated)
- Base salary $68,600–$114,300; bonus target 7.5%; 401(k) and additional retirement contribution; paid time off and health benefits.
