Role: Senior Associate Scientist in Pfizer's Research & Development, focused on analytical characterization of biotherapeutics and vaccines. Responsibilities include conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses, performing lifecycle activities (verification, validation, transfer) for complex biologics such as monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and vaccines; maintaining records in compliance with GLP/GMP; troubleshooting analytical assays across early and late-stage products in a cGMP environment; and supporting laboratory instrument maintenance and process improvements. Requirements: BA/BS with 3-5 years or Master's with 0-4 years in biotherapeutics testing, strong documentation skills, experience with spectroscopic and chromatographic techniques (e.g., UV-VIS, HPLC/UPLC, ELISA), and knowledge of GMP laboratory operations. Preferred: familiarity with software systems (EMPOWER, LIMS), GxP knowledge, problem-solving skills, and experience with AI tools. High-Value: biologics (mAbs, ADCs), vaccines, analytical method lifecycle, cGMP environment, early to late-stage development. Work setup: on-premise with occasional off-shift work and limited travel.
