Role: Senior Associate Scientist specializing in analytical method development for RNA therapeutics at Bristol Myers Squibb. Responsibilities: independently design, optimize, and qualify analytical methods for characterizing RNA-based modalities, lipids, and related components; support routine testing covering safety, identity, content, purity, potency, and quality attributes; lead method lifecycle activities including transfer to CROs/CDMOs and authoring SOPs and reports; collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot analytical issues and support project milestones; operate and maintain analytical instrumentation; interpret complex data and generate technical documentation. Requirements: B.S./M.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field with 2+ years of CMC experience; hands-on expertise with HPLC/UHPLC (IP-RP, RP, CAD) for RNA, lipids, impurities; experience with biophysical techniques such as DLS, RiboGreen, ELISA, Raman spectroscopy, microscopy, UV-Vis; strong technical writing skills; familiarity with ICH, FDA regulatory expectations. Preferred: PhD candidates with relevant experience.
