Clinical Research and Development
Main Responsibilities:
- Generate and evaluate producer cell lines expressing viral vectors, including media preparation, cell maintenance, thaw, passaging, and production of small-scale cell banks and pre-master cell banks.
- Operate automated single-cell cloning and well-plate imaging systems; perform cell line assessments and manage related data to meet project timelines.
- Independently plan and execute experiments; manage concurrent work assignments; analyze and interpret results; propose next steps with supervisor input as needed.
- Prepare reports, procedures, and presentations for CLVD team members and cross-functional project teams.
- Contribute to lab organization and reagent tracking and other operational tasks.
- Ensure work follows applicable regulations, SOPs, and policies; maintain proper records and safe, compliant laboratory practices.

Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Cell Biology, or related discipline.
- 1+ year of experience in mammalian cell culture, aseptic techniques, viral vector production, or related lab experience (academic experience considered).
- Self-motivated; excellent organization and time-management.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Mammalian cell culture experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology/academic settings.
- Experience driving end-to-end producer cell line development; Hamilton liquid-handling automation development/optimization using LLMs; database architecture to accelerate workflows and enhance data integrity.
- Experience with mammalian gene expression systems and/or molecular biology techniques.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, cooperative environment; multitask with adaptability and positive attitude.
