Senior Associate Quality Assurance
What You Will Do:
- Fully onsite in Thousand Oaks, CA; ability to lift 30+ pounds and pass a vision assessment for inspection work.
- Comfortable working with raw materials/components (mainly chemicals) and may work in the sampling suite for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sample and inspect raw materials and components.
- Perform quality review of documentation (e.g., equipment and maintenance records).
- Lead small projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Operate and maintain sampling instruments/equipment (e.g., Toledo balance, drum lift, pallet jack).
- Maneuver large drums; ability to maneuver 50+ pounds.
- Maintain training records; record and compute data.
- Apply aseptic techniques, cGMPs, gowning, sampling procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Work as a team player and/or independently; multitask and use basic problem-solving.
- Communicate effectively (written and verbal).
- Proficient with documentation systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school/GED + 4 years of Quality experience OR Associate’s + 2 years of Quality experience OR Bachelor’s + 6 months of Quality/Operations experience OR Master’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; prior GMP experience; production/warehouse equipment experience; familiarity with inspection equipment.
