The Role (Associate, Procurement Operations Center)
- Ensure efficient, accurate, compliant procurement processes across the organization; support Source-to-Pay (S2P).
- Oversee complex PO processes; troubleshoot discrepancies (price mismatches, GR issues).
- Serve as subject matter expert for PR/PO workflows and system integrations.
- Support continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounts Payable (AP) to resolve escalated issues.
- Train business users and junior team members; share best practices.
- Create/modify/close Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP/ERP for Goods and Services; manage logistics/planning/stock management for lab consumables in NL.
- Ensure PO accuracy/compliance; monitor approval flows; follow up on goods receipt and delivery timelines; correct errors (e.g., incorrect GR flags).
- Assist with master data creation/update requests (via Bizagi into SAP).
- Provide first-line support for procurement inquiries; coordinate between LoB, AP, and suppliers.
- Monitor procurement inboxes/approval queues; maintain dashboards (e.g., Power BI) and support analytics.
- Maintain audit records, support internal audits, and contribute to UAT and process guideline creation.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain Management/Procurement/Business/Finance/Accounting (or related).
- 3β5+ years in Procurement Operations (S2P/P2P/Purchasing/Shared Services).
- Hands-on SAP ERP PR/PO (incl. GR) experience; troubleshooting price/GR/PO/approval issues.
- Experience with Finance/AP, suppliers, and procurement transformation/system implementations; audit support/compliance documentation.
- Strong SAP procurement module knowledge; S2P/P2P understanding; master data management; Bizagi familiarity (advantage).
Preferred
- Pharmaceutical/biotech/life sciences or highly regulated industry experience.
- Logistics, inventory planning, or stock management experience.
- Participation in UAT and process documentation.
