Senior Associate Manufacturing (Manual Visual Inspection)
Responsibilities / What You Will Do:
- Perform manufacturing unit operations per Standard Operating Procedures with minimal supervision.
- Support manual visual inspection operations; manage characterization/data/equipment.
- Identify process anomalies; analyze critical process parameters.
- Operate complex critical processing equipment.
- Support process improvement projects/assignments.
- Support quality systems (Deviations/CAPA/CAPA EV/LIMS/MES/SAP/MAXIMO) and new product introduction.
- Support production; maintain communication between operations teams.
- Resolve problems during operations; perform initial review of procedures/batch records; review/revise/audit documents.
- Perform computer operations (MES, EBR, MAXIMO, LIMS, SAP).
- Provide process theory expertise and hands-on training.
- Own deviations/CAPA and suggest corrective/preventive actions.
- Use project management skills to set timelines/priorities; recognize/escalate problems.
- Support flexible shifts (may include 24/7 or weekends).
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree OR
- Bachelor’s degree + 6 months experience in biotech/pharma manufacturing/lab or manufacturing support OR
- Associate’s degree + 2 years experience OR
- High School Diploma/GED + 4 years experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GMP manual visual inspection experience.
- PAS X Werum/electronic batch records (editing/validation).
- Experience with lab equipment, computers, and intermediate math.
- Degree in Engineering/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology/Computer Science with biotech experience.
- Demonstrated technical writing and teamwork; strong manual visual inspection/bioprocessing knowledge.
