Senior Associate Data Science

Role: Senior Associate, Data Science within Alcon’s Analytics & Intelligence team, focused on leveraging advanced analytics, Machine Learning, LLMs, and Operations Research to generate actionable insights from structured and unstructured data. Responsibilities: develop and test analytics models, incorporate LLMs and AI automation, analyze large datasets for trends and optimization opportunities, collaborate with senior data scientists and business partners to align solutions with organizational needs, and communicate insights effectively. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Python, SQL, data visualization tools, and cloud platforms; strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with mathematical optimization models, solvers like CPLEX or Gurobi, and data pipelines. The role involves working on innovation-driven projects with a focus on improving decision-making across the organization. It is an onsite position at Fort Worth, Texas, with an emphasis on transforming eye care through data science.
