Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and utilize a business plan aligned with marketing strategies through territory analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and customer insights (updated quarterly).
- Implement business plans by leveraging appropriate human and physical resources with Hematologists and Oncologists and other key customers.
- Become a product, disease state, and marketplace expert; communicate and position product information to promote appropriate use of the Sanofi Genzyme oncology portfolio.
- Work closely with field partners to ensure strategy pull-through across Key IDNs/System, Reimbursement, Key Accounts, other ABMs, and Medical (as appropriate).
- Complete call reporting, business plan updates, and expense reports; operate within all Pharma compliance guidelines.
- Execute effective account targeting and time management.
- Attend required training and, as necessary, conventions and symposia.
- Complete fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree from an accredited school (business or life science preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of specialty sales experience (Oncology/Hematology preferred).
Additional Requirements/Preferred Skills:
- Ability to think, plan, and act strategically.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Up to 2 years of successful experience selling chemotherapeutic agents or biotech products (preferred).
- Working knowledge of the hospital and cancer center environment (preferred).
- Ability to safely drive a company car to daily meetings and appointments is required.
