Responsibilities:
- Own assigned CRM solution and integration workstreams from design through deployment and stabilization.
- Define and review event-driven and API-led integration patterns (REST, async, streaming where applicable) aligned with Salesforce, Veeva, and middleware such as MuleSoft.
- Review and validate partner designs, customizations, and integration code for Salesforce best practices, life sciences compliance expectations, and enterprise standards.
- Guide configuration-first and low-code approaches versus customization.
- Partner with integration vendors and internal engineers to implement approved integration patterns and data flows.
- Support testing, validation, and release readiness, including defect triage and go-live support.
- Deliver post-launch enhancements, manage large data volumes, and optimize platform performance.
- Lead incident triage and root-cause analysis for complex Salesforce, Veeva, and integration issues.
- Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and monitoring/operational readiness artifacts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8β10+ years in CRM, enterprise architecture, or integration roles.
- Proven ability to review SI deliverables for high-quality design, clean code, and enterprise standards.
- Experience governing integrations, customizations, and deployments across distributed internal and vendor teams.
- Hands-on development for production enhancements, integration extensions, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with environment management, release management, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring.
- Strong incident management and root-cause analysis skills.
Desired technical skills:
- Salesforce-based CRM experience; MuleSoft preferred.
- API-based and event-driven integrations (REST, async).
- Salesforce Data Cloud and/or enterprise data integration experience.
- Large data volume considerations (LDV), data modeling, indexing, performance optimization.
- Release support, environment coordination, production monitoring.
- Compliance-driven design in regulated life sciences environments; Salesforce Industry Clouds/life-sciences CRM ecosystem is a plus.
Compensation/benefits:
- Annual base salary: $145,000β$162,000; eligible for an annual performance pay bonus. Competitive benefits package.
Work location:
- Weekly hybrid schedule in Waltham, MA.
