Responsibilities:
- Own assigned CRM solution and integration workstreams from design through deployment and stabilization.
- Define and review event-driven and API-led integration patterns (REST, async, streaming where applicable) aligned with Salesforce, Veeva, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft).
- Review and validate implementation partner designs, customizations, and integration code for Salesforce best practices, life sciences compliance, and enterprise standards.
- Guide configuration-first and low-code approaches versus customization for maintainability and scale.
- Partner with integration vendors and internal engineers to implement approved integration patterns and data flows.
- Support testing, validation, and release readiness, including defect triage and go-live support.
- Deliver post-launch enhancements, manage large data volumes, and optimize platform performance.
- Lead incident triage and root-cause analysis for complex Salesforce, Veeva, and integration issues.
- Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and inputs to monitoring/operational readiness artifacts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent experience.
- 8–10+ years in CRM, enterprise architecture, or integration roles.
- Proven ability to review SI deliverables for high-quality design/clean code and adherence to enterprise standards.
- Experience governing integrations, customizations, and deployments across internal and vendor teams.
- Hands-on development for enhancements, integration extensions, and production performance tuning.
- Hands-on environment management, release management, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring.
- Strong incident management and root-cause analysis skills.
Desired/Preferred Skills:
- Strong Salesforce CRM experience; MuleSoft preferred.
- API-based and event-driven integrations (REST, async).
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or enterprise data integrations.
- Large data volume (LDV) considerations, data modeling, indexing, performance optimization.
- Experience supporting releases, environment coordination, and production monitoring.
- Compliance-driven design in regulated life sciences environments; Salesforce Industry Clouds/life-sciences CRM ecosystems a plus.
Location/Work:
- Weekly hybrid schedule in Waltham, MA.
Compensation:
- Base salary range: $145,000–$162,000; eligible for annual performance pay bonus.
