The Position
Responsible for ensuring reliable & consistent operation of identified local manufacturing applications. Improve reliability of process control systems to meet current & projected customer, business & regulatory requirements through People Focus, Equipment Focus, Standards “Gatekeeper”.

Essential Functions
- Liaise with production (shop floor) and corporate; ensure application understanding and manage continuous improvement initiatives
- Present initiatives/information accurately; explain industry jargon clearly
- Support identification of application requirements via stakeholder management
- Gather stakeholder needs/process gaps; develop/implement action plans supporting production goals
- Provide input to product feature enhancements and process improvements
- Resolve system issues/discrepancies
- Coordinate/oversee software upgrades and releases
- Coach/train colleagues and stakeholders
- Schedule/execute plans with manufacturing schedules
- Lead/manage large projects involving application solutions
- Develop/maintain process application standards, specifications, and maintenance plans
- Own self-development to understand site process control systems
- Support audits/inspections as SME for specified process applications
- Use cLEAN tools (Systematic Problem Solving, process improvement, project management)
- Operate with Quality Mindset focused on risk management/mitigation
- Implement effective Change Management; support IT/local stakeholder initiatives/projects
- Follow safety and environmental requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in IT/Engineering (or related) + 8+ years IT/engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility and/or packaging systems
- OR Associate’s (in lieu) + 10+ years in related experience
- Knowledge of PAS-X, POInT, PLC, SCADA (required)
- Proven project management/planning expertise (required)
- Ability to translate direction into actionable tasks using cLEAN/Six Sigma (required)
