Summary
- Senior Application Engineer (AI Venture Studio delivery): Hands-on senior individual contributor building secure cloud-hosted applications, including agentic AI products and knowledge/context infrastructure; design APIs/services/infrastructure/deployment pipelines and agent runtimes to ensure reliability, observability, security, and enterprise alignment.
- Work in AI Accelerator delivery cycles (six 2-week sprints over 12 weeks) to build/test/validate/prepare MVPs for scaling.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate backend services and APIs powering AI Accelerator products.
- Develop Python/FastAPI or TypeScript/Node services integrating LLM APIs, retrieval, workflow engines, and enterprise systems.
- Build MCP-accessible read/write/search services and permissioned knowledge stores (markdown/YAML), including authn/authz, SSO, secrets management, auditability, input validation, and safe service boundaries.
- Build agentic workflows with LangGraph (state, orchestration, tool execution, fan-out/fan-in, checkpoints); implement retrieval/memory/context services using AWS-aligned data stores.
- Establish DevOps/IaC/CI/CD, observability/evaluation (e.g., LangSmith), quality/security gates, sandboxed agent execution, and MVP demo readiness.
- Partner cross-functionally; provide technical coaching and clarify cloud trade-offs.

Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- BS+ in CS/Engineering/Science (or related).
- 5+ years software/cloud/platform/backend engineering.
- AWS-native cloud-native experience (S3, RDS/PostgreSQL, Athena, Redis, OpenSearch, Fargate, Lambda, IAM, VPC).
- Strong Python/FastAPI or TypeScript/Node.
- Containers, CI/CD, GitHub workflows, automated testing, IaC (Terraform/AWS CDK/CloudFormation).
- LLM/RAG/agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph/LangChain/PydanticAI/Claude Agent SDK).
- MCP/FastMCP familiarity; vector databases/knowledge graphs; semantic layers/SQL; sandboxed execution/provenance/audit/access control; enterprise LLM integrations (OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini/Bedrock).
- Coding-agent/AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot); strong communication; agile mindset.
