Senior Analytical Scientist – Analytical Sciences and Technology - Lilly Medicine Foundry

Role: Senior Analytical Scientist supporting drug substance processes at Lilly's new Medicine Foundry, focusing on analytical method transfer, development, and validation for synthetic and biologic products. Responsibilities include implementing PAT strategies, collaborating across teams to optimize analytical solutions, and driving continuous improvement in analytical technologies. The role involves working closely with process engineers, chemists, and biologics scientists to ensure robust, accurate testing aligned with GMP standards, and supporting regulatory submissions. Requirements: B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM field with 8+ years (or M.S. with 5+ years) in analytical characterization using techniques like HPLC, GC, LC-MS, and spectroscopy; experience supporting pharmaceutical development and GMP environments; strong communication and collaboration skills; U.S. work authorization. Preferred: extensive hands-on experience with method validation, transfer into production, and supporting synthetic/biologic drug substances.
