      Role Summary
 The Senior Analytical Scientist supports the development of new OTC Drug, Wellness, and/or Medical Device products for our global Consumer Healthcare brands. Analytical sciences provides support for New Product Development via methods, claims and technology development programs that contribute to the growth of the Consumer Health Business. The role will execute technical strategies in analytical chemistry within the Haleon R&D Organization, leading complex problem solving and troubleshooting analytical methodology issues, with familiarity in HPLC, GC and dissolution. Collaboration with New Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain and Regulatory teams is required.
 
 Responsibilities
 
 - Being an engaged technical expert who leads and executes technical aspects of analytical development with minimal supervision.
 
 - Applying advanced knowledge of analytical science to design experiments, assist in project design, and independently complete tasks.
 
 - Serve as analytical lead for multiple innovation projects with minimal supervision.
 
 - Direct and perform method development for various finished product dosage forms.
 
 - Perform and direct method validation and transfer activities with minimal supervision.
 
 - Lead the development of novel approaches to solve complex technical analytical problems.
 
 - Create innovative analytical methodologies.
 
 - Interface with internal and external partners as a scientific and technical colleague.
 
 - Recognize atypical data including chromatography results and resolve issues; troubleshoot instrumentation.
 
 - Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior scientists.
 
 - Oversee outsourced analytical activities at contract laboratories.
 
 - Produce effective presentations and write for diverse audiences (external, commercial, management, scientific).
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 - Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
 
 - MS in Chemistry with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
 
 - BS in Chemistry with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
 
 - Experience in HPLC, GC and dissolution method development and validation.
 
 - Moderate knowledge of Global (EMA) Regulatory, GMP and ICH Quality standards.
 
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 - 5+ yearsβΓΓ΄ experience in Rx or OTC pharmaceutical industry is desired.
 
 - Expert in HPLC, GC and dissolution method development and validation.
 
 - Advanced knowledge of EMA Regulatory, GMP and ICH Quality standards.
 
 - Demonstrated technical leadership experience.
