Senior Analyst, Sales Operations
Responsibilities:
- Create reports and dashboards of sales force performance and call metrics on a weekly/monthly/quarterly cadence.
- Develop and implement sales force alignments, call plan targeting and segmentation, and other quarterly planning for assigned field sales force(s).
- Manage large relational data sets: clean, merge, manipulate, and aggregate for reporting.
- Serve as the central point of contact for field and management support for data and ad-hoc analytics requests.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Managed Markets, and Finance to provide operational analytics on sales force effectiveness and activities.
- Assist with data validation, support, and training for web & mobile app sales force reports.
- Cross-train within Incentive Compensation and CRM; participate in interdepartmental training to align with Corporate goals.
- Create and maintain process and report documentation for assigned sales force(s) and improve internal processes.
- Build and maintain positive, professional working relationships with associates and management.
- Complete special projects as deemed necessary and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Required / Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 1–4 years of experience; BS/BA in Math, Statistics, Business, or related field preferred.
- Preferred: Sales Operations and/or pharmaceutical experience; Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, and/or SQL; familiarity with IQVIA XPO & DDD and IRI; internal data sources (chargebacks, CRM activity).
- Knowledge of data analytics, reporting, and strategic analysis; understanding of sales business models and pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; strategic data analysis and reporting.
- Required: high proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivots, VLookups) and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate concepts and solve/apply mathematical concepts and computations.
- Basic understanding of statistics; calculate performance metrics and create visualizations.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension).
Compensation:
- Salary range: $55,000 - $105,000.
