The Position:
Arrowhead is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Analyst or Contracts Manager to join its legal team in Pasadena, CA. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, the Senior Contracts Analyst/Contracts Manager will evaluate, draft, and negotiate company contracts on behalf of Arrowhead.
This role is full time onsite, 5 days a week in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and review contract documents; ensure reasonableness/accuracy, sufficient timeframes and deliverables; identify and resolve clauses adverse to Arrowhead.
- Assist in managing Arrowhead’s contracting system (enter and track requests/assignments).
- Negotiate contract terms within established corporate parameters.
- Communicate with internal/external stakeholders regarding contracts.
- Write and/or edit contract communications and notices.
- Assist with other general legal matters, as appropriate.
- Balance big-picture concerns with day-to-day activities.
- Address business partner needs by involving the right people at the right time and developing creative solutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years (Senior Analyst) or 5+ years (Manager) negotiating a large volume of contracts.
- Superior negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication; strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and critical/strategic thinking; project management skills.
- Experience coordinating with internal clients.
- Outstanding organizational and time management.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business/biotech (or equivalent experience).
- Pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
- Experience with clinical trial agreements.
- Experience with Agiloft contract management system.
Pay Range:
- Senior Analyst: $110,000–$125,000
- Manager: $125,000–$145,000
California pay range: $110,000–$145,000
