Role Summary

Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain FP&A at AbbVie. Responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support global supply chain leadership; develops forecasts, consolidates forecasting and reporting deliverables, prepares deliverables for operations HQ teams and business partners, and drives process improvements to deliver high-quality financial information to business leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare drafts of annual Plan, update, LRP and LBEs; complete required Operations FP&A submissions within deadlines; understand key financial drivers with supply chain business partners.
  • Perform monthly close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis.
  • Support headcount reporting for the business units; track actual headcount, open positions, and contractor support levels.
  • Support capital process, planning and reporting; work with project accounting to ensure accurate RCE reporting; build annual capital plans and LRPs; track spending against RCEs and generate LBEs.
  • Collaborate with business partners and operations FP&A for ad-hoc analyses; provide guidance on financial implications of business decisions.
  • Assist with consolidated supply chain planning deliverables (LBE, Plan, LRP, Flash) for operations HQ teams; summarize and present results as part of consolidated reporting.
  • Support administration of consolidated supply chain planning cycles; develop calendars, templates, and processes to ensure timely, accurate, and controlled results.
  • Identify and drive system-based and process efficiencies; build relationships with finance peers through collaboration.
  • Work with other departments to ensure strategic initiatives are achieved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorβ€šΓ„Γ΄s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 3+ years in finance or accounting
  • Knowledge of basic financial planning and accounting principles
  • Proficient Excel skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact with affiliates/areas and internal partners
  • Effective project management and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail oriented

Preferred

  • SAP experience
  • Financial reporting systems experience (IBM TM1, IBM Planning Analytics, SAP BPC, Oracle HFM, etc.)
  • Data and reporting automation systems experience (Power BI, Power Query Tableau, SAC, Workiva, etc.)
