Operations
Responsibilities:
- Ensure study protocol requirements are reflected in system designs and common data standards are used.
- Specify systems to optimize functionality, end-user experience, and data flow.
- Own on-time design and delivery of new clinical systems, integrations, and required changes (e.g., EDC, IRT); use project management tools to track progress; identify risks to timelines/quality and develop solutions.
- Ensure therapeutic area and program consistency.
- Collaborate with DSS and cross-functional teams to achieve program/study objectives and synchronize deliverables with dependencies.
- Ensure adherence to federal/local regulations, GCP, ICH guidelines, AbbVie SOPs, and functional quality standards.
- Coach and mentor Data Science Associates.
- Participate in innovation and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in business, MIS, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years clinical technology experience (e.g., EDC, IRT, ePRO) or 5+ years in a similar technical/clinical development role; knowledge of industry design/development tools preferred.
- Understanding of clinical trial process.
- Knowledge of CDASH and SDTM.
- Ability to influence others without direct authority.
- Effective communication and analytical skills.
