Position Summary
- Responsible for improving implementation and partner relationship management best practices and making Caris a biopharma partner of choice.
Responsibilities
- Own/oversee execution, delivery, and relationship management of programs with biopharma/biotech partners to maximize partnership value.
- Manage/oversee strategic alliance portfolio: partner due diligence and health checks; annual operating plans; contract management; prescriptive delivery (requirements gathering, provisioning recommendations, team direction, timeline/quality tracking); governance/process management; alliance alignment and continuous improvement (governance redesign, expansion opportunities, SME for feasible expansion); proactive risk/issue mitigation.
- Drive customer/business excellence: communicate Caris solution value; provide best-practice partner recommendations; build/expand customer relationships; mentor and develop teams; contribute to process improvements; provide account-level forecasting inputs.
- (If applicable) Lead/manage teams and resource allocation; ensure partner satisfaction and contractual obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 4+ years in molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology and/or related areas (e.g., real-world data repositories, drug development/discovery, clinical research/study management, product management, companion diagnostics, healthcare delivery/program management).
- Manager-level (or higher) experience.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet-based tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of regulatory/quality frameworks (CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA) and impact on operations.
- Experience delivering/partnering on oncology offerings, lab services, therapeutic programs, healthcare data products, or clinical-trial enrollment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams/direct reports.
